What types of “chotchkeys” do travel agents receive from destinations and do they work?

I’m curious why types of items travel agents receive from destinations, hotels or resorts and if they work? What gets kept and what gets thrown in the trash?

   The usual sort of those can be quite nice like trips for instance.
   My experience what suppliers hand out is the suppliers logo find myself using some of these postits pens mousepads mugs key rings calendars etc all with the usual sort of thing youd get from any company postit note pad pens and some out is the suppliers logo find.
